Two films I´ve seen recently fromt the comfort of my own sofa: Ladykillers, with Tom Hanks, and Reno911 (Maderos 091).
And so, the one to watch is Ladykillers. I do not know what the original version with Alec Guinness might have been like, but despite my dislike for Tom Hanks, I actually really like the new version.
I particularly like the old lady, that lives in her own little world and knows no evil. The accents might be slightly difficult to understand as they intend to represent the way people speak in the Deep South, but it is an otherwise very enjoable film.
The one to miss is Reno911, or Maderos 091, as I had to see it in Spanish since the original version was not available. Don't be fooled by the trailer, yes it may have some funny bits, but overall I found myself having to use the argument of "I paid for it so I'm gonna watch it" to stay put in front of the telly. Horrible - don't bother.

qué petardada de película, la de los petardos 091 esa...ji ji a mi me pasó lo mismo con "Brick", de un asesinato y tal y tenia buena pinta, y luego resulta q era una petardada americana de teenagers y high school y uno q iba de listo por ahi de protagonista..creo q no llegué ni a la mitad. Y había pagado mucho eh! voy a ver el otro clip! :o)
