Lean 6 Sigma in Barcelona

Well, while some of us do diets, learn French and start big projects like house remodelling, web pages design and setting up the greatest company on earth (petardosis - lingua project), others like me try to learn as much as they can while they can. That is, while it´s free!

These days I have had the chance to mix holidays in Barcelona with Lean 6 Sigma learning, a course on process improvement and project management that is undoubtedly directed to employees who have some chance of implementing new procedures with the sole purpose of enriching their boss. Or for managers, something I have not the pleasure to be at this moment in time. Or, as I´m sure happens in some places, to be able to demonstrate your project managing skills, so that your boss actually sees the good in you and compensates you for it (see also: promotion, payrise...)



If you want to take a look at Lean 6 Sigma, I strongly recommend it, it´s by the way used by companies such as Motorola, Toyota, etc, and I´m sure it´s the key to any success:

The question is: I kept wondering, why am I here?, if my intention cannot be any further than to wish this for my own company, but hey, then I thought of my future projects, and I saw my own success at a glance.

Do you believe in fate? well, I do now. This just had to happen, and it had to happen now.

Just remember: eliminate waste, reduce variation....in all you do, and enjoy!
