Pineapple Express

I know, I know, it's been a bit of a dry season and it was about f***ing time I wrote, but what can I say, I've been kinda busy, did a course on web design, got a job and moved to Madrid. Okay, so it doesn't sound like that much, but believe me, it's been kinda hectic and that's all.

So what brough me back to the blogosphere? I've just finished watching the film Pineapple Express. Don't ask me about the actor cos I don't know them. There's a few familiar faces, oh, and the guy from Spiderman, the son of the rich bad buy, is in there and is hunky and funny. I think the guy from "V" (as in the rat-eating extraterrestial beings) is there too, but don't trust me on that cos I'm not certain that it is him (Kyle, I think his character was called).

Anyway, so you know we don't get films in Spain, more like we only get the fraction of a fraction of all that's made because choice is just not "in" in Spain. So I just checked on the internet trying to find something interesting and I found this, and I watched it. And I loved it. I thought it was really good and I would like to share it with you.

Now be forewarned, if English is not your first language, you might find that you do miss whole chunks of the dialogue, but that's life and in a way it doesn't really take out much from the film. I think it's really funny even if you don't speak much English at all!

It might be, but I haven't checked, that the film was dubbed into Spanish, but I haven't bothered looking because, really, translating films is a bit of a cartel here in Spain and you always get the same seven people doing all the characters in every film, and every advert, and every bit of thing that goes on telly these days...

So, anyway, do watch the film if you have the opportunity cos it is very good. Made my day.



By the way, there's coarse language, violence but, disappointingly, no sex! And also, the trailer does no justice to the film, just watch it, okay?
