Last night I watched Lucky Number Slevin, with a plethora of well known stars including Josh harnett, Lucy Liu, Morgan Freeman, etc. That DVD had been sitting on the sidelines of my DVD cabinet (the normal one, not the "special" DVD cabinet) until last night, untouched, ignored.
What was my surprise when I found myself loving the film. Yes, it is true that Josh Harnett spends half the film wrapped in a towel, but that aside, the plot line was quite good, unexpected, not as straightforward as many so-called thrillers these days.

I blame Americans for obvious plots, I imagine that there must be many talented script writers that find that they have to dumpen down their stories to make them manageable for the average American viewer.
However, not in this case. I must take the dog for a toilet walk so I'll finish here. Watch it, you'll like it.
